West Coast Shores is renowned for providing exceptional accommodation and welcomes solo travellers in a “Safe-Solo-Space”. Whether travelling for business or leisure, seeking head-space or heart-space, solo travellers will find the privacy they need, or the company they need, when they need it. Our spacious Luxury-Comfort suites all have queen beds for stretching out. This also includes a special welcome for solo diners at ‘The Bean’, our partner restaurant, who are similarly welcoming – either for sit down or takeaways. Solo Travelers are safe and spoilt with us.
Along with solos, we welcome friends, couples, and small families for both short and long stays. Everyone wants to enjoy the tranquility and easy access to either exploring or just relaxing.
The immediate area is known as Moeries-se-Baai, which has the most beautiful and secluded bay in Jacobsbaai..West Coast Shores is almost on the beach, and with a choice of seven suites, you will have difficulty in your choice.
The Guest House is in a quiet cul-de-sac with walking access via a pathway to the beach right next to Number 20. This means that the furthest suite is still less than 100 meters from the beach. It’s a lazy 2-minute stroll. Being a quiet and friendly area means people are often strolling – either along the ‘Close or on the footpath around all the bays.
The main guest house has a sunny, glass-enclosed stoep available to guests during the day in which you can relax or work.
The “BraaiKamer” (BBQ Room) “OppiBaai” is a stunning location virtually on the beach. This beautiful facility opens directly onto Moerie-se-Baai and has shutters for protection from rain or wind when needed.
All upstairs suites have access to large decks with outdoor seating and great views. Stairs have safety railing.
Each of the seven individually designed, Luxury-Comfort guest suites include fittings, décor and amenities which have been carefully selected to provide for your comfort.
Original Guesthouse suites include Driftwood, Fynbos, Atlantic and Breeze and access to the glass enclosed Stoep.
The new suites include Romance, Flaminco, Harmony and Dream and access to “OppiBaai” Braai Kamer.
