R500 per person per night. (Discount will be granted for 3 – 4 guests).

R1200 per night is the Family rate  (Mum, Dad and 2 – 3 kiddies)

R750 per pensioner couple (60 years and older) per night. (Mon, Tues and Wed night)
  • Discount will be granted to 2 pensioner couples.
Pensioners are also welcome to book Monday up to and including Saturday night at pensioners rates.
  • Once off Cleaning Fee – R300 paid with booking.
Tumble-In welcomes guests to enjoy the comfortable Two-bedroom self-catering cottage.  Situated only 150km north of Cape Town on the West Coast in Kersbosstrand, Dwarskersbos.
Enjoy the beautiful sea views from the lounge and the veranda, especially on days when you do not feel like walking along the beach. It is located 75m from the endless pristine beach which is perfect for all-day walking and cycling at low tide.
The Cottage has 1 Bedroom with a Queen Bed with an Air conditioner for the hot summer days and a second bedroom with a double bed.  Electric blankets for the winter months. A full bathroom with shower, bath, toilet and basin. Lovely bedding and soft towels. Please bring your own beach towels.
The open plan living area is comfortably furnished and there is a 4 seater dining room table. There is free DSTV and Wi-Fi. There is good cell-phone reception.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge/freezer, a convection microwave oven and a 4 plate gas hob. It is fully kitted out with cutlery, crockery, pots and pans, kettle, toaster and electric whisk. There is also an iron and an ironing board. T-towels, washing up cloths and dishwashing liquid is supplied.

Load shedding is not a problem.  With an Inverter system in place, the ceiling lights, the tv, the fridge and Wi-Fi signal stay on.

The cottage is a No-Smoking zone but guests are welcome to smoke outside. The stoep is large with  a table and chairs, with a built in braai. The stoep can be enclosed with blinds for if the weather is blustery.  A BBQ grid, braai rack and braai tools are provided. There is safe off-road parking for 2 vehicles.

In Dwarskersbos there are 2 cafe’s which sell food and wine as well as a few restaurants, a hairdresser, an interior décor shop, a laundromat, supermarket in Laaiplek and a shopping mall in Vredenburg.

What to do in the area.
For birdwatching the berg river estuary is 10 mins drive away in Velddrif. The region boasts abundant bird life. Look out for pelicans, lesser and greater flamingos, blue cranes, herons, the endangered oystercatcher and the European bee-eater.
The Roscherpan Nature Reserve with it’s bird hides is a 10 minute drive away in the direction of Elands Bay.There are 4×4 routes in the area as well and many gravel roads for mountain bikers.
