Welcome to Heron’s Haven Self Catering in Port Owen, where comfort meets convenience in a serene riverside setting. Nestled on the banks of the picturesque Bergrivier, Heron’s Haven is a friendly and well-appointed self-catering apartment that can accommodate up to 5 guests.
The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with modern amenities including a stove, oven, microwave, fridge, and all the cutlery and crockery needed for a delightful culinary experience. Additionally, tea-and-coffee-making facilities are at your disposal. We also provide cleaning equipment, making it easier for you to maintain a tidy living space.
You’ll find the lounge area perfect for relaxation, furnished with a TV featuring DStv premium for your entertainment needs.

Step outside onto the stoep and embrace the South African tradition of braaing in the built-in braai area.
Your vehicle will be safe and secure behind the lockable gate.
Please keep in mind that, unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate pets. Although Heron’s Haven offers direct access to the river, it’s important to note that this area may not be suitable for small children.
However, guests do have access to the jetty if they wish to use their own boat for exploration. In respect of our tranquil nature surroundings, we kindly ask that you refrain from playing loud music or hosting noisy parties during your stay.
Guests have their own entrance and can make use of the jetty. The owner lives on the premises above the apartment.
